Over the past few years I have been watching as people create “blogs” and write about their daily lives. I thought over time I’d come to some sort of understanding about the “blogging world” but I just don’t get it. My solution: create a blog of my very own and figure it out for myself instead of asking questions that get me nowhere. I am already enjoying to free-write type of style on my blog. I do like that word, blog. I then ran into the problem of what to talk about. I do not enjoy typing about myself, it is much more fun to talk about mysef. Thus, I resolved to talk about what makes up most of me, which is music.
I do not believe there is room for hate or violence toward any person. Ever. I believe music can unite everyone in one cause, one love and one world. It is a terrible thing to watch, helpless, while others suffer and feel hurt.
Leonard Bernstein’s solution to violence is one I admire and hope to promote. Through music we can bring reform, change the attitudes of those who seek to harm and comfort those feeling the emptiness of loss. We can write songs or we can sing and pass them on. We can be passionate about music, a wonderful and beautiful thing, and inspire good.
